Local organ recipient honored to ride on ‘Donate Life Float’ in Rose Parade
Susan Sprague received a kidney-pancreas transplant at Upstate in 1997 that saved her life. She was chosen to ride on the Donate Life Float in the annual Rose Parade in Pasadena, California, and talks about her deep gratitude to her own organ donor, and what it means to be able to highlight the critical need for organ donors locally and nationally.
