Friday, July 27th, 2012Upstate University Hospital and the national organization WomenHeart are hosting Central NY WomenHeart—free monthly meetings that serve as a support network for women who are living with heart disease. Upstate’s Jamie Waterstripe RN and heart disease survivor Leisha Tedford MSW talk about the support group, held at Upstate’s OASIS/HealthLink Learning Center, 1 Telergy Parkway (6333 State Route 298) in East Syracuse. The public is invited to an Open House on Monday, July 30, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Enjoy the bounty of the season – two locations on two different days – open to the public! A variety of local farmers and small businesses will be at the markets, bringing fresh local produce, baked goods, jams, jellies and crafts.
